The Hands and Dial
To the left the hands are in place on the naked back side of the movement and to the right is the dial of the little 17 jewel Olma watch that has been the example watch and movement in this series of photographs. The minute hand is mounted an the Cannion pinion that revolves one turn in one hour and the hour hand on the hour wheel that revolves one turn in 12 hours. The seconds hand is mounted on the fourth wheel axis that revolves one turn in one minute.
In the figure above the minute hand can be seen mounted an the Cannion pinion and the hour hand on the hour wheel axis.
